Paul Potts inicia una gira por Alemania

En la gira que acaba de comenzar en Hamburgo y que le llevará a un total de diez ciudades alemanas hasta el próximo 8 de noviembre, Potts pretende consagrar su carrera como cantante de ópera.

A sus 38 años, el orondo Potts, que ganó la versión británica de "Operación Triunfo" con su voz y emoción al entonar "O Sole Mio" o "Caruso", pero igualmente "The Music of the Night", de "El fantasma de la Ópera", se hizo célebre en Alemania como protagonista de los anuncios de la principal compañía telefónica del país.

El británico, que saltó a la fama en junio del año pasado, cuando se ganó al jurado y al público de este "casting de estrellas", viste ahora un esmoquin inmaculado en sus actuaciones y cosecha minutos de aplausos, como los de Hamburgo, ante casi 10.000 espectadores que no le dejaron marchar sin entonar el aria de Turandot.

Este talento mediático, que ha arrancado también como protagonista publicitario más de una lágrima, actuará hoy en Leipzig, para continuar su gira por Mannheim, Stuttgart, Berlín, Bremen, Hannover y Nuremberg entre otras ciudades.

El británico, que ha sacado su primer disco compacto, gira por Alemania con la esperanza de ser algo más que una estrella fugaz del escenario.
