Los Top 100 del Hip Hop

La cadena musical televisiva VH1 eligió las 100 mejores canciones del hip-hop y además esta realizando una serie de programas especiales sobre ellas. Para esta selección se han tomado ciertas reglas como el tomar solamente una canción por artista.

Otra característica de la selección que ha causado polémica ha sido que se ha centrado más que todo en los últimos años de este estilo y se ha tomado muy poco de los comienzos del estilo, realizando excepciones en los momentos altos del TOP. Según esta cadena televisiva “VH1”, se pretende que el especial de cinco episodios cuente la historia detrás de cada melodía y además de informar al espectador sobre lo que hacen ahora las estrellas de la antigua escuela de hip-hop.
